Grandparent’s Day at Fairlane Elementary School

The 1st grade, Pre-K, and Mrs. Cook’s Life Skill classes at Fairlane Elementary will celebrate Grandparent’s Day on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, September 9th, 10th, and 12th, from 1:00-2:30 each day. Our teachers have sent notes home with times and events planned for these days. Due to overcrowding concerns, kindergarten, and pre-K LifeSkills classes will have their grandparents' day activities in February. Please call the school at 615-666-2970 with any questions.

Fairlane Elementary Book Fair

Fairlane Elementary will host a Scholastic Book Fair on Monday, September 9th through Friday, September 13th. Hours of operation for the public will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 – until 2:30, Wednesday from 12:00 – 6:00 in conjunction with our parent-teacher conferences, and Friday from 8:00-11:30. Funds raised will help purchase books and other materials for our school. Families, faculty, and the community are invited to attend this fun reading event, and two $25 Book Fair Shopping Passes will be given away. Books may also be ordered online at
