FAIRLANE'S FAMILY CONNECTION

Dear Families,
I can hardly believe May is already here. It seems like we just started school a few weeks ago. We only have a few days of school left and they are going to be very busy.
First grade goes on their school trip on Monday, May 5, to the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. Kindergarten goes to Dinosaur World on Wednesday, May 7. The on Thursday morning, May 8, kindergarten goes to the movies, and we get out of school at 12:00 for Teacher Appreciation Day.
Kindergarten will be testing the week of May 12th. All kindergarten students do not come every day. They only attend on the day they are tested. Your child's teacher will let you know when to send your child. Then on Friday all student stay at home and parents meet with the teacher to discuss how well their child did.
First grade will be going to the movies on Friday, May 16. We must have those permission forms signed by you and returned to the teacher in order to let them go.
All groups have planned days at the park and kindergarten also plans to visit the local banks to learn about the banking process.
We have had several calls about kindergarten graduation. We do not have a kindergarten graduation we only have their pictures made in a cap and gown.
