Dress Code
Macon County Schools have adopted a dress code that applies to all schools.
Students that are in the First Grade are expected to follow the dress code that
has been set forth by the Board of Education. Students are allowed to wear
shorts at Fairlane, but students should not wear spaghetti strap tops or tube
tops. Pants should not be excessively baggy as to fall down and expose underwear
or navels.
First Grade students will go outside for recess if the temperature outside is
45°
or warmer. Please keep this in mind as the weather is very unpredictable in the
Fall and Spring. Your child may need a jacket or sweater in these seasons-
please write your child's name inside their coats!
