Fairlane’s Family Connection

Dear Families,

Kindergarten and Pre-K registration will be on April 26th here at Fairlane in the cafeteria, from 8:00-2:30. Please spread the word to anyone you know that will have a child ready to come to Kindergarten in the fall. Bring birth certificate, current shot record & physical. You do not have to have all of this required paper work to register your child, but it must be turned in before they can be enrolled in a classroom in the fall. Students must be 5 years old by Aug. 15 in order to attend Kindergarten next year. Also your child must be zoned to attend Fairlane in order to attend here. Any questions about registration just call the school.

Please remember even though the school year is winding down, attendance is still very important. We have a lot of “end of the year” testing coming up, so it is very important that students are here at school and on time.

A few reminders about morning drop-offs. There are two lanes, one closest to the building and one closest to the tree. These are for drop-offs only. If you need to come into the school, you will need to park in the parking lot and then come inside. If you are using the outside lane next to the tree PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get out and walk your child across to the sidewalk. Sometimes the children are hard to see by the drivers in the inside lane. We don’t want anyone hurt and the safety of our students is our biggest concern.

Here are a few dates to keep in mind:

April 16 – Kindergarten Field Trip

April 18 – Egg Hunts 2:00
